The impact of HCCMF on tumors was assessed against the effect of RCF. The results indicated that tumours treated with HCCMF had significant shrinkage. However, tumours treated with RCF didn't show evidence of shrinkage in the tumour.

The tumors of the three groups also displayed different growth curves. The HCCMF-treated tumors had a significant reduction in tumour size after 8 weeks. However, the tumours which were treated by RCF did not show any signs of shrinkage. The difference was highly significant. In summary, the results show the fact that AM EMF is a powerful source of anticancer activity in vitro and in live. It is possible that AM RF EMF causes these effects because of CACNA1H, a protein that is involved in tissue-specific Ca2+ influx. Additionally, AM RF EMF may cause a lasting influence on the growth of HCC tumours in the vivo.
